Prescriptions/Refills

If the doctor prescribes a medication for your child during your visit, it will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. Should the medication be a controlled substance, such as medication used for ADD or ADHD, you will be given a written prescription. Also, at this time Womack does not accept our electronic prescriptions so you would need a paper prescription to take there as well.

If you should need a refill for medications taken on an ongoing basis, please call our office when there are two weeks or less of medication left and ask to speak with your doctor’s nurse. If the nurse is not available to speak to you at that time, then please leave a voicemail and the nurse will return your call as soon as possible.
