The Fayetteville Children’s Clinic is distinguished as being Fayetteville’s first pediatric clinic. Established in 1953 by Dr. J. A. Shaw, Dr. Richard Kelly and Dr. William Breeden, the clinic is located in the heart of the historic Haymount district. For over 70 years, the Fayetteville Children’s Clinic has been the medical home for generations of patients.

Today, the tradition of providing quality healthcare for children is continued by Dr. William H. Kelly, Dr. Niveen Y. Iskander, Dr. Horace R. Long and Dr. Olga Johnson. Our doctors and staff are committed to providing outstanding service to our patients.

We are closed 11:30-5pm today December 4! We will reopen tomorrow morning 8 am!

We are now accepting most AETNA policies!

Our doctors have provided hospital newborn care at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for several decades. We continued to provide newborn care for an entire year after the hospitalist pediatric provider group began in order to assist the hospital in transitioning to hospitalist led care. We have enjoyed a long and productive relationship with Cape Fear and now must transition to outpatient only care starting November 1, 2024.

Same day sick appointments are available to our patients

If you are pregnant, we recommend that you read the CDC vaccine information on the CDC website to consider the RSV vaccine, not the antibody, during the pregnancy. Testimonials

There's no better children's health facility in Fayetteville, maybe even NC! I was a patient there from about 4 years old to 18 and now my son is one. They've had the same team for years so they work together like a strong, cohesive well-oiled machine. Always friendly, smiling, and caring. -JM
